Short answer: GTA 6 is not launching on PC. It releases November 19, 2026 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S only, and Rockstar has not announced a PC version, window, or any PC-specific details.

Will GTA 6 come to PC eventually?

History strongly suggests yes — but later. Rockstar has a clear pattern of releasing its biggest games on consoles first and bringing them to PC months afterward:

• GTA 5 — Consoles September 2013, PC ~18 months later (April 2015)
• Red Dead Redemption 2 — Consoles October 2018, PC ~1 year later (Nov 2019)

If GTA 6 follows the same playbook, a PC release could land sometime in late 2027 or 2028. That’s speculation based on past releases — nothing is confirmed.

Why no PC version at launch?

Rockstar tends to optimize for current-gen consoles first, then build an enhanced PC port (often with higher frame rates, resolution, and mod support) as a second wave. This also gives them a second sales spike well after the console launch.

What should PC players do now?
