GTA 6 Physical Pre-Orders Sell Out on Amazon in Hours
GTA 6 pre-orders went live on June 25, 2026, and demand was immediate: according to TheGamer, the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S physical editions sold out on Amazon US in around two hours, despite the “physical” version shipping as a code in a box rather than a disc.
RockstarINTEL corroborated the sellout, reporting that the first batch of physical copies on both platforms vanished within the first hour before stock cycled back in.
Stock has fluctuated since — copies have gone in and out of availability across US retailers as new batches are added. We’ll update this post as more verified figures come in.
Note: there’s no official “units sold” count from Rockstar or Take-Two yet — this is about retailer stock selling out, not a confirmed sales total.
